Everyone is welcome to join us for our in-person Worship services. For those who can not attend our in-person services, we offer live stream on St. Matthias’ Facebook Page. We also post our services on the St. Matthias YouTube channel. During this pandemic, we are doing our best to bring a message of hope and peace through our Lord Jesus Christ into your homes whether they be on cell phone, IPad or desk top computer.

Welcome!
Who we are – St. Matthias is a mission church of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. We strive to make the Gospel known in worship, word and action. St. Matthias has members from many different neighborhoods in and around Devine and the surrounding area. We take great joy in the way our members join together in worship of God and in service, with our many backgrounds and traditions. We are a Veteran friendly church and work with a Military Ministry for the Diocese.
Children in worship – Children are invited and encouraged to attend our service. We have a Sunday School program if they prefer.
Holy Communion – The Episcopal Church welcomes all baptized Christians to receive communion at its altar, either as bread and wine together, or each element separately. If you wish to come to the altar for a blessing from the priest, without receiving communion, cross your arms over your chest and the priest will bless you.
We want everyone to feel welcome and able to worship the Lord with us at St. Matthias, especially when we celebrate Holy Eucharist. This is a House of Prayer for all people. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact Father Dexter. He would be delighted to speak with you.
